The Annual Election of ASCEISG, HKUSTCE was implemented on 18th February 2011 and votes were counted immediately after the closure of balloting. This is an official announcement of the result of the Annual Election:

距離四川 5.12 地震兩周年還不到一個月，香港特區援助四川地震災后重建的工作還在緊密地進行中。香港特區所提供的資金達九十億，包括項目達一百五十多個，其中有基建、學校、社福建設及醫院等。本講座會介紹香港特區在四川災后重建的工作內容，香港特區政府如何管理這些項目、其中涉及的群項目管理 (Programme Management) 、項目管理 (Project Management) 、資金管理 (Finance Management) 和資源管理 (Resource Management) ，講者會與?遂一分享。此外，在重建過程中，引入的項目經理 (Project Manager) 、打梱招標 (Bundled Tendering) 、技術檢查 (Technical Audit) 及新的抗震設計技術都會在此講座介?。

After the 12 May 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, the Hong Kong SAR provided HK$9 billion to help reconstruction in the Sichuan earthquake zone. More than 150 projects covering infrastructures, schools, hospitals and community services centers etc are going on under the support of the Hong Kong SAR. In this seminar, what these projects are and how they are managed will be introduced. In particular, experiences in programme management, project management, finance management and resource management will be shared and new practices of project manager, bundled tendering, technical auditing and new seismic design technologies will be introduced.

The ASCE Region 10 Governors Award

ASCEISG, HKUSTCE has been awarded the 2008 ASCE Region 10 Governors Awards by ASCE Headquarter.

The ASCE Region 10 Governors Award was established this year and is made annually to the most outstanding International Student Group in Region 10 outside America. A plaque acknowledging our International Student Group's achievement is enclosed.
